Description: Deep red color. Aromas of cherry, mulberry, sour cherry, vanilla. Medium-bodied mouth, with a rich velvety flavor. Subtle tannins, a balanced body, and a strong aftertaste.
Vineyards: From the Zacharias family’s own vineyards, in the Douramani location of the Nemea municipality.
Harvest Dates: Mid September.
Vinification: Prefermantary cryoextraction for 3 days. 15-18 days of extraction at 22-25 οC. Left to mature for 6 months in French, oaken, third- of fourth-used barrels.
Served At: 16-17 οC.
Food pairings: Red meat, pork, pizza, pasta with minced meat.
